Special Coil Compression Springs

Versatile standard spring for many applications

Coil compression springs are a commonly used type of spring, especially in combination with column guide frames. They consist of round or rectangular wire cross-section and are available in different lengths, diameters and spring forces.

Powerful and customizable

They can be deformed under load and then return to their original shape. Depending on the design and material, they can absorb forces of up to 10,000 N. The initial force can be individually adjusted via the preload.

Safe use thanks to guidance and color coding

A guide is required to prevent the spring from buckling. The spring stiffness is color-coded according to DIN ISO 10243 (green, blue, red, yellow); special strengths are available in purple and white.

Durable with the right design

When loaded in the fatigue strength range, helical compression springs are theoretically indestructible. However, external influences such as temperature, liquids or lateral forces can affect the service life.
